The Black Book - Diary of Admiral Marc Redevance It lay there, the tattered black book that held the words and wisdom of many men, like a treasure chest of past years. Pages old and worn from many years of use, cover still intact, yet equally deteriorating. The rough leather now has visible cracks that have formed over the years, yet they add personality to the simple little book. A small metal clasp hold the diary closed, the rusted metal showing signs of past beauty, a time when it was once brand new, silver, and gleaming. An old, sandy brown quill with a brown tip lays on top of the black diary, the maker of the flow of ink that now resides trapped within the yellowing pages. The tip is still sharp, and blackened from the use of ink after many years. This be the diary of admirals, men who passed the little book down from admiral to admiral, until it got into the hands of the admiral today, Marc Redevance. [/size][/i][/blockquote]
